Head up the hallway and meet with a member of Team Plasma. Follow him down some stairs to the left and through a doorway, then battle him. When you defeat that member of Team Plasma, continue straight left through four rooms. At the base of the stairs in the fifth room, head up and left along the stairs, then up through the opening. Climb the stairs in the room in which you appear, and keep climbing the staircase at the center of subsequent rooms until you arrive in a new room.
Here, there are drop-offs to the lower level. Steer clear of those and head up to grab an item, the TM26 Earthquake. Now you're ready to do some important stuff before you leave the castle. There's more than one way to progress in Relic Castle. To win this battle, hit him hard with Water-based or flying attacks, then slowly drain most of the last of his health with Grass-based attacks or with attacks from any Bug-type pokemon in your party.
